Bidra med feedbackThe Matsumoto region is famous for eating horse meat. They say the secret is in the nutrient called glycogen. Horse meat seems to have 3.5 times more than beef and 6 times more than pork, so it is more delicious, more 'umami'. But not only do they serve Sakura meat (as it is known around here), but it is a restaurant with good regional dishes like soba (buckwheat noodles), various tempuras, etc. The place is full of art objects, many related to horses. They have 2 floors and a counter that can accommodate 9 people.
