Waiting time is terrible, same with the steak josé. They need basic restaurant management, crew is lost. Will not go back. Sorry

Had dinner here Monday night. Party of 6 high school students (uniform apparent). Had the Southern Fried Chicken. It was tasty, u fortunately the thicker piece was raw and bloody. To the kitchens credit, they took back BUT saved me the same piece I had cut up so it looked butchered! Didn't finish it cos it wasn't appealing anymore though orig it had good taste along with its accompanied cream sauce. Waiter is novice as I sat there for awhile,ready to order but didn't help me until 10min., even for beverages. No tissue even though i had asked. Frustrated, I left. Hoping they fix the issues as food was tasty.

I first spotted this gem waiting in line at the mcdonalds drive thru along marcos highway. It was near my place so I decided to check it out that weekend. I invited a friend to try out the resto. We ordered the buffalo wings, southern fried chicken, and creamy fish. THEY WERE ALL SO DELICIOUS! I have no idea how they got their buffalo wings to taste so good... Spicy, but well balanced out with sweet buttery creamy savory goodness! Howd you guys do it?! It was perfect with the sour cream dipping sauce. We actually ordered another plate. Haha My friend had the chicken. I tried some. The flavor was great and it was actually served with really yummy curry rice! They were so perfect together. Value for money was also great. It was a leg quarter and priced just as much as a two piece chicken from mcdo! This would definitely be the better option I ordered the creamy fish (i was on a diet at the time haha) it was really good! The fish was perfectly cooked and it was delicious. The fish was steamed but definitely didnt lack flavor! Id recommend this to anybody who is trying to lose weight. Trust me, you wont be jealous even if somebody else on your table ordered a just as delicious fried chicken! Which was exactly how it was on our table.

Feeling a bit down? Feeling like the whole world 's against you and nothing 's going right? Well, feeling ko hindi ka talaga malungkot.... GUTOM KA LANG!! Wahaha! Just kidding, whether you 're gutom or really sad, Jose is the perfect place to eat your feelings away. Their meals will for sure make you happy and fill your hungry tummy (uy that rhymed hehe . Comfort food at its finest! Food: I tried the Creamy Fish, Cheesy Jalapeno and Turon with Cheese. The Creamy Fish indeed lived up to its name. The sauce was creamy, but not the umay kind of creamy. The dory was perfectly cooked and went well together with the sauce. (Ugh, I 'm actually craving right now while writing . The serving size was huge too! All of these for only PHP180???? Sulit! The Cheesy Jalapeno was super yummy too, especially for those who like spicy dishes. Definitely not for the faint hearted (or tongued?? haha may ganun ba?! since it was really spicy, but the (huge amount of cheese balanced out the spiciness. For dessert, I had Turon with Cheese. It wasn 't too sweet and yup, anything with cheese is H E A V E N. Forgot to mention that the prices of these dishes are easy on the pocket considering the quality and service size. Tons of other dishes to try next time (eyeing on that Chicken Parmigiana and Baby Back Ribs!!!! Jose is definitely one of the best restos in the area. Ambiance, Location and Service: It 's located near Marcos Highway in Marikina, use google maps! They also have parking, hehe. Ambience wise, Jose is a perfect place to catch up with friends! They have alcoholic drinks too and at PHP 50 per bottle, it 's actually cheaper than most bars. Good service, they serve the food fast. The waiters and the owner are really friendly too. ;

José offers almost all the savory comfort food dishes my heart desires! Swear! Lechon kawali, buttered prawns, cheese sticks... I could just go on. I name it, they got it! Now what I like about this place and what sets it apart from other comfort food restos is they keep dishes as simple as possible but then also find ways to add a twist to dishes that can afford it. Like lechon kawali, it's simple to make but can easily go wrong when undercooked, more so when overcooked. Jose does it perfectly, tenderness and flavor in par with my standards! And then they also do twists like turon with cheese! I mean anything with cheese right? But whoever thought about turon with cheese, now that is genius! Apart from the food, I also had a shake, a saba shake. As in, saba, plantain shake, and I did not expected to love it so much I wish all other restaurants would offer it too! There is nothing like the feeling of discovering something new you love!
