Taste Cafe - Masterton

This restaurant truly has something for everyone. My kids shared an order of pancakes, and it was a nice touch that they were served on two separate plates. They were delicious! My mother-in-law enjoyed the corn fritters, which she absolutely loved. As for me, I indulged in the most incredible salad bar. I have a tomato allergy, but there were plenty of delicious options without tomatoes—honestly, it was the best salad bar I've experienced in New Zealand. There were about ten different pre-made salads, including shredded vegetables with sesame oil dressing, an egg salad with a mustard base, and a chickpea salad packed with veggies. I would definitely return just for the salad! However, as a vegetarian, I found the main menu quite limited for my dietary needs. Also, I believe they only serve breakfast and lunch, like many places in town.

This is our favorite cafe in Masterton. They offer a fantastic variety of food, and the owner is always willing to adjust menu items to accommodate different dietary needs. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

The food is excellent, and the staff are consistently friendly. This is undoubtedly one of the best cafes in Wairarapa.
