If you visit- you have to visit Buds. Perogies are awesome and excellent burgers. The ice cream is always a great choice with lots of flavors!

This restaurant has the nostalgic ambiance of a 1950s diner. With a wide variety of options on the menu, there's something for everyone. Despite our late arrival near closing time, the staff graciously accommodated us and kept the kitchen open. The sub sandwiches were delicious and the service was excellent.

I went to this restaurant for dinner tonight and had a deluxe burger with homemade fries. The burger was delicious and I will definitely be going back again.

Do not let the name or exterior deceive you. This charming restaurant is like a retro 1950s diner, complete with brightly colored booths and stools. The menu sticks to the theme with offerings like grilled cheese, burgers, poutine, and mac & cheese. We visited for lunch, so we cannot speak to how dinner may be.

Buds Bar and Grill is located in the municipality of Masset, tucked away in the corner on an unassuming street; however, you can't miss it: the building is large and painted in a unique bright orange colour! Personally, I find the colour a little off-putting, but that's mere aesthetics. What matters, of course, is cleanliness, service and food -- and Buds doesn't disappoint there in the slightest!Modeled after a 1950s diner (akin to Johnny Rockets), Buds offers the curious patron a large, clean, bright space. Pulling off a themed diner of this type can be difficult, but I think Buds accomplishes the task quite handily: the floors feature that familiar tile pattern; the walls are adorned with movie posters and signage reminicent of the 1950s; the tables and chairs are reflective of the period, inclusive of a wonderful long table with stools and an ice cream machine! To really amp up the atmosphere, period music is played over the speaker system. Wonderful!The menu is varied -- there's something for everyone, even an "International" section, which is pretty neat but I think the place is most well known for their burgers which are excellent and house-made. For my part, I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed: the portions are large (and the price very reasonable) and, perhaps most important, the flavour has been off the charts! It's easy to see why this place is so popular amongst tourists and locals alike.
