Bidra med feedbackAre they worth the journey from wherever they are! great dug smoked bbq, and great sides, plus the desserts?
Absolutely terrible. brisket was super dry and hard. I asked the pitmaster if I could get more bc, it was super dry. he brought back something and asked if it looked better. I said it was, but once I had to look through it with my knife, I knew it wasn't. I'm used to crush meat you can cut with your fork. prices are too expensive. $6.95 for a very small salad is ridiculous. 1/3 pound brisket, kartoffel salad with ? and tee and a cobbler over $24. bullshit! I know the prices have risen, but salat shouldn't be anywhere near $7.
Just as good as the famous location in llano texas that I have been before this to 3x. it is the same exact concept and quality meat, but cheaper by a bit and faster service by far shorter lines. I actually think that I would rather make the drive to mason (if for me to house) than make the drive to llano to get big bbq, as it is so similar if not identical to lower trips and faster service. I love the prospects they get over the scrubs to show and choose what they want, how much until what is available at the time. half-when, smoked truthahn and brisket are great winners for us. the koleslaw is great, my favorite classic page to bbq different from beaning or sweet cornbrot. The baked cartomas are large and soft, delicate and tasty, they invite it with beats as they wish. we paid about $70 for all our were and rest as well.
Wow! the most amazing bbq I had in a very long time! they even let them go to the dug to see the meat on the dug and pick it up. I was looking for fantastic grill and this place is the best I have found so far! they have been there since 1953 and they are the original. there are other coopers bbq who tried a spin-off, but they are different. that is the original. they begin to prepare the mesquite wood in the day before and burn it to prepare the coals. then add the brisket in huge dug the wee hours of the morning to have it done later than day. it is a work of love and proud to prepare grill for this wise and it shows. if they are in the opposite, please try this amazing bbq, they will be happy that they. Everyone there is friendly, helpful and takes pride in what they do to make the most amazing bbq. and they have sitting outdoors and are dog-friendly.
I had wonderful smoked pork loin BBQ and a jalapeño popper. The popper had a slice of tender meat inside. It was delicious. For sides, I had their sweet cole slaw and blackberry cobbler. Some families opted to eat outside on the picnic tables as it was perfect weather to do so. As I ate inside, I marveled at the hand painted mural of the Mighty Puncherdome. I'm so glad Mason's original Cooper's is carrying on the family name in a genuine way. Very tasty! Two thumbs up!
