MG Restaurant - Masbate

I was invited by friends staying at the MG Hotel. I had previously stayed here and only had breakfast included. This time, I was invited for lunch. The food was okay, nothing special. There is a small pool next to the restaurant, which was neither outstanding nor bad.

"The fruit and toast breakfast was awful and the coffee was instant. It might be wiser to consider one of the Filipino breakfast options instead."

I visited this restaurant because it was constantly mentioned in my research about Masbate. I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did stop by for a snack. Unfortunately, I found the prices to be excessive and not worth it. The portion size was good for two people, but the taste and quality of the food did not justify the cost. The restaurant was located next to a small pool, and although the restaurant itself was spacious, it felt empty and hot as they didn't turn on the air conditioning for just one person. I won't be returning to eat or stay here in the future.

Didn't stay here but went to the restaurant and had an experience that was hardly enjoyable. Waitresses couldn't really be bothered to serve us, didn't pay attention to one of our party's allergy information and the portions weren't exactly filling. Disappointing.
