Chan Thai - Marysville

The food was great (the chicken was a bit dry) and the service was okay. There was a waitress (i think) and a waiter. The waiter did an excellent job on serving and keeping the customer happy, but the female (I don't know if she is the owner) was sitting aside and chatting with the other customer at a different table. She sat down the whole time while I was eating and even after I was done. That is not okay, she should have kept it short.

This place has always been not only convenient, but really friendly and reasonably priced. Food is good, service is pretty quick. In case you're wondering what to get, the answer is you're getting the salmon curry. I usually get something else there, but one day I was feeling adventurous and got the salmon curry, and it changed everything. It was somehow both crispy and sweet, but not too sweet, and it went so well with the curry that I asked my friend to try it, who doesn't really like salmon. He practically had a religious experience (his words) and now it's all he wants whenever we go, which is often if we're in the area.

Got here at 7pm and it was empty.... I was a bit surprised as it was a weekend night and i had expected the place to be full. I was promptly seated and given the menu so i can make my selections... The first thing that strikes me was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. That alone earned them a 3 star.... I ordered the Tom Yum soup and the Pineapple fried rice... Tom Yum soup tastes pretty good... The pineapple fried rice is excellent. Just the right amount of heat and crunchyness. Compliments to chef Well done!!!

A little pricey but totally worth it. Seriously some of the most flavorful Thai food in the area. My favorite is the green curry, perfect balance of spicy and sweet.
