This is one of the best authentic Swiss restaurants I was. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent and authentic as well as traditional! Very good and a beautiful atmosphere!

I usually write reviews from remote places when I'm on the go. This time I decided to write a review to a local restaurant that I feel is known to us locals, but not to foreign travelers looking for an authentic Swiss country cuisine experience. Everything can say that you don't get nonsense good country meals at a very reasonable price. Not suitable if you are a vegetarian as pork is almost part of a menu. They could still go there as they offer salad plates or a steamed vegetation. The homemade bread served with its meals is the best. You have no internet presence, so you need to know that they are closed Wednesday and Thursday. You can reach by car or hourly bus from Rafz or Winterthur. Bus stop Steinenkreuz.

The blood sausage is something of the best regarding taste and consistency. also the wädli is excellent, fresh and tasty.

We have celebrated a birthday party there and I must say it has worked very well from apero to the close. wonderful large swan steak with sweet and pommes. also after service came fast and you could eat properly enough. fine white and red wine from rüdlingen. also the metzgete here is fantastic you must reserve absolutely.

Very friendly reception, professional advice and a nice selection of fresh local dishes. the appetit immediately stimulates. the prices are very customer-friendly. especially the prices for the local wee are record-worthy. the meals are very tasty, friendly presented and make a very fresh impression. the service reads no wish open, be it from the service staff or the wirtin itself. highly recommended!
