Sweetfrog - Marshfield

Ive been to Sweet frogs in Marshfield and was excited to see that there was a location in Plymouth. Was disappointed with my experience there were two young girls working and they were talking to each other and on their phones the whole time. Barely looking up to talk to the customers. I felt like I was more of a bother being there.

Absolutely filthy. The yogurt machines were dirty, the floors were visibly dirty and sticky to walk on, the windows smeared with hand prints, the toppings area had spills everywhere. There was one young girl working and she spent the duration in the back room.

Not usually a fan of froyo but I found myself in the area trying to kill time before an appointment. I got cookies and cream with multiple toppings (chocolate chips, Twix, Caramel, oreos) and I was surprised that I enjoyed it. I wish I had filled my cup more.

This restaurant was a disappointing experience. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, and the staff were rude and inattentive. The bathroom had a terrible odor, reminiscent of a dirty portable toilet, and there was no toilet paper available. I had to ask for some and it was quite embarrassing. Additionally, the music they played was inappropriate, especially considering the large number of children present. When I voiced my concerns about the loud Lil Uzi Vert music, a staff member with red hair dismissed my complaint, saying she could play whatever she wanted. I found this very disrespectful. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I urge others to reconsider visiting Sweetfart.

If you have allergies, I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. As a former employee, I can tell you that while they assert they are careful with allergies, the reality is that all topping containers in the back are shared and prone to cross-contamination. Moreover, employees are paid far below the minimum wage, with management insisting that tips compensate for this; however, since it's a self-serve setup, tips rarely exceed $20. The management itself is disorganized, and there’s also a concerning issue with a fruit fly infestation in the back room. It would be worth your time to drive to Menchie's in Hingham instead.
