Bidra med feedbackWe were visiting the Mucem and the Fort, and decided that Gérard Passedat has an excellent reputation in the city, so how could this little outpost be bad? WRONG WRONG WRONG. Starting with an incredibly arrogant and inflexible manager, an incompetent kitchen, and more issues with our lunch than can be imagined this was a disaster. When one member of our group asked if there would be a possibility for a vegetarian/vegan option of a salad and pasta with vegetables (looking at a menu that had on it: salad, pasta, and vegetables as components of other entrées, her request was summarily dismissed as impossible. Our server seemed to take pity on us, so she offered a bowl of pasta with vegetables (apparently this was unauthorized) and we thought we would be ok. Others ordered fish, or roast chicken. ONE HOUR LATER, the kitchen produced an overcooked rubber chicken with none of the accompaniments mentioned in the menu, a plate of fish that you could smell from across the room, and a bowl of plain spaghetti. Yes, PLAIN spaghetti. Like you might serve to a toddler who is recovering from a stomach ache. Others around us were also incensed at the length of wait for their lunches. The entire experience was incredible. When it came time to pay (which only took us about 10 minutes to come to, as the meal was literally inedible), the manager admonished our vegan family member, telling her that this is what she should expect when eating in a restaurant. Incroyable. Never again, and never recommended.
You will most likely do a standard tour in Marseille. Plan it so that you are at La Forte for lunch. Sit outside, enjoy the sun and very light and delicious lunch. Salad was very very fresh. Meat was good and the salmon burger was very tasty. Go for something light!
We are very happy, the Burger Vege was extraordinary, mushrooms and mullet egg hidden in the heart of Burger, but what divine surprise. Beef, melting and raised. And cherry on the cake, the French fries of sweet potatoes are totally amazing with the grenades Just a word, thank you.
A very fine cocktail and a perfect service thanks to the professionalism of the waiter present during the frank blue evening advertisements.
Table in the shade and with a magnificent view of the sea, super practical break between two exhibitions. pro service, little waiting. correct dishes (a salad and a poke bowl.) you pay the location and it is normal.
