Drink was very flavorful, and not over powered. Steak was cooked right, very tender. Great cut of meat. The Oscar style on top was meh . Not what was expected from the establishment and reviews. Brussel sprouts were amazing. Him: **** Mary, hickory ribeye, baked potato. Steak was one of the best I have ever eaten. The added flavors from the salt block it 's served on brings it to the next level. Steak was cooked exactly how I ordered. Fat melted in my mouth. Baked potato was a good size and cooked nice n soft. Zero complaints. The **** Mary was not good in any aspect in my opinion. Visit 2: birthday Her: chophouse salad and crab cake. Another strawberry bazil lemonade. Absolutely loved everything she got. Salad was very fresh, crisp. Him: American waygu tenderloin, baked potato, strawberry lemonade. Was disappointed by the waygu. Was still a good cut of meat cooked perfectly... But for less money u can get the hickory ribeye which is miles better. Anniversary night the server was very very slow. I finished my meal before I got my sauce I asked for. We also waited almost 20 min after eating to receive our bill. Birthday night.... One of the best most attentive servers I have had in a long time. I short, check out this place. This was a huge disappointment for my husband and I. We are here on our honeymoon and multiple people referred us to come here. I made a reservation online for 6:15 and it asked if we were celebrating anything so I said we were celebrating our honeymoon. Upon arrival the manager/hostess congratulated us and sat us at our table then the waitress came and got our drink order, all seemed to be going well. Then shortly after, a group of guests came in and it was very obviously they were regulars. They got all their food and drinks quicker than we did and were getting way better treatment. Our dinners came, I got a wagyu with mashed potatoes and my husband got the ribeye, scallops and brussel sprouts. We were extremely disappointed. The steaks had no flavor what so ever and his scallops were rubbery and very fishy. At this point we were extremely annoyed and just wanted to leave so we paid our bill and I pulled the manager/hostess aside. I told her we were extremely disappointed as nothing special was done for our honeymoon dinner and we got really poor service, she proceeded to say she was sorry but we got sat during a rush and the table behind us eat there 3 times a week and are considered VIP guests do not come here expecting something amazing, because you will be extremely disappointed. The server told me the salad dressing for smoke duck salad was out, and I said let the chef decide what to substitute. They made an amazing dressing with red wine vinegar, it was light in taste but I can still feel the ‘echo’ of the flavor in my mouth, very brilliant.
