Bidra med feedbackHad lunch at this cafe located in middle of Maroubra's cafe strip. That the place survives in this competitive setting indicates they must be doing most things right, which was our experience. We enjoyed our meals (Chicken Quinoa salad and the Mushroom bruschetta) and thought the coffee and juices excellent. Our only issue was that the service was somewhat slow, or at least inconsistent. And the place was not overly busy. It was a sunny day and we dined at one of their al fresco tables so really didn't get to check out the interior of the cafe.
We had breakfast here and was happy with the meal. Only thing was there was no breakfast menu for kids so they had big meals which was a bit wasteful but food was lovely
We popped in here for a coffee this morning while have a wander around the area. The service was prompt and the drinks came in quick time. The quality was pretty good as well. There is a fair amount of seating both inside and out on the footpath.
Popped in here for the first time this weekend and really liked it! It was around 2pm but they were still doing breakfasts, so I went for the big brekkie. It was so good! I find a lot of cafes give you a ridiculous amount of bacon but barely cook it. At Zeebra you get a decent but not overwhelming amount and it was cooked really well. I tend to miss baked beans when they're not included but didn't need them here because everything was so nice and juicy! My husband had the beef and guinness stew and that went down really well too. Was having a nice relaxing time watching the world go by out the window so ordered one of their homemade carrot cakes afterwards, which was also delicious. Everything a good price too and the service was friendly and welcoming. Great find, will definitely go back!
Very popular with locals. Small with a few indoor and outdoor tables. Great choice of excellent food and good prices. Lovely staff. Free parking nearby.
