Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant provides excellent customer service. We reserved this venue for a party. The food was authentic and the portion sizes were generous for the prices they charge. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Many thanks for supporting our event.
A few days ago, someone recommended Chilli Cracker to us, the newly opened restaurant in Maroochydore. I took my whole family there and was impressed by the spacious seating area, convenient and well-organized tables. The staff were welcoming and gracious as we enjoyed some Indian seafood dishes like prawn fish curry, prawn masala, and a delicious madras cooked with coconut and tomato. The food was incredibly delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, we tried gulab jamun for the first time and it was a true delight - a must try! I highly recommend Chilli Cracker to anyone in the Maroochydore area who hasn't visited yet, they don't know what they're missing. Cheers.
This restaurant has only been open for 4 weeks. The seating is comfortable and the tables are covered with white paper tablecloths. A group of 5 of us were welcomed at the door by the chef, who has a long history in the hospitality industry. My brother, who made the reservation, had spoken to the manager during the week to discuss how he wanted the evening to go. The manager was very accommodating. We asked him to choose appetizers and main courses for us that would be enough for 5 people to share. We were all served a complimentary tasty tomato soup. For appetizers, we were served prawns, chicken tikka, and for mains, we had a delicate and flavorful pork vindaloo, butter chicken with aromatic flavors, and lamb rogan josh. All the dishes were delicious and we had plenty to eat. Each of us had an individual plate with a small portion of rice, naan, small potato salad, and a poppadom. Regular customers choose their main dish and a portion is served on the plate. Although it was an interesting way to present the food, I personally preferred the way it was served to us and we were charged accordingly. The chef was also accommodating when we requested a spinach and cheese naan that was not on the menu. It was a quiet night, which was surprising, but I don't think many people are aware of this restaurant yet. Overall, it was a delicious meal, with a friendly atmosphere created by the manager and the smiling waiter, who didn't speak much English. It is definitely worth visiting to try the food and see for yourself. The cost was about $30 per person, but a few of us opted for dessert and we did not have to pay a corkage fee as it is BYO.
