Killer Shrimp MDR - Marina del Rey

There was one issue during my visit to this restaurant. I had made a reservation for 9:30pm after my college graduation, but I didn't realize that the dining area closed at 10pm. When we arrived on time, the hostess initially tried to seat us in the Happy Hour section instead of the restaurant. We had to request to be seated in the restaurant area, as we wanted to give our guests a good experience. It felt like they were about to close, but once we were seated, Rico made up for the initial mix-up. The service was welcoming and excellent. We had been to this restaurant before when visiting from Georgia and wanted our friends to have a good experience, which Rico helped provide.

I have been dining at Killer Shrimp since it was a small spot in the Valley.

Great place on the water.. fun atmosphere in the bar area and great drinks and food.

Great food, great flavor. Fun atmosphere. Service was ok.

Great food! Service could have been better. One from our group of six had a meal forgotten. Server didn’t check on us until we were more than halfway done to offer spoons for our shrimp broth. Everyone as pleasant enough though. I’ll come back for sure
