Mountain Mike's - Marina

Almost 22 years since I was here and it was a pleasant surprise to see the place. The pizza was great and brighta fresh. Wife loved McKinley or whatever she called. Pizza came out hot and brought this nostalgic feeling of little league football games and weekends during school playing in the playroom tossing Quarters in mortal Kombat. The place was a little quiet and had no background music, but this is more a personal preference than a negative. The staff was nice and friendly, the pizza was delicious and I repeat people to give this place an attempt if you like fresh tasting, hot, crispy crust, tasteful goodness.

Service was good but the wait time for two mini pizzas was ridiculously long. Salad greens were not that fresh.

First time I ordered food from here. Talk to staff understood that they are the only ones delivering in this area because other pizza place is close. But they were hour late and forgot my boneless chicken wings that's $8.99. I have tried calling and emailing back to inquire about possibly delivering the missing item or getting credit back for My chicken wings that I did not receive. I paid for extra artichokes but they gave me more black olives instead. Got forward to voicemail nobody's picking up. I am not happy about the situation because it was about $75 total with the tip included.

Great pizza, friendly staff. Our family really loves the 40% discount on all large pizzas every Tuesday. No coupon required! It makes their otherwise expensive pizzas more reasonably priced. We always get thin-crust and have never been disappointed., but I wish plain old-style flat pepperoni was available as an option. My son is a fan of their crispy cup-style pepperoni, though. I've read reviews here that have complained about delivery problems with this Mountain Mike's, but I always opt for take-out instead. Take-out is faster, the pizza is hotter, and instead of paying a delivery charge I always put something in their take-out tip jar by the register. In my experience the pizzas are ready for pickup about 5 minutes BEFORE their over-the-phone estimate. This is my go-to place for pizza in Marina. I don't like Dominoes at all, and the Marina Round Table (which also makes very good pizzas) can't match Mountain Mike's 40% off Tuesdays.

I had it a few times. They put a good amount of toppings, but they don't have a sauce. A little disappointment.
