Max Brenner Highpoint - Maribyrnong

Came here with my cousin because we were craving dessert. Max Brenner’s service and quality of food is consistent. I’ve always had a good experience everytime I visit. I always order either the crepes or waffles but today I felt like cheesecake. Their White choc crumb cheesecake was perfect with the melted chocolate and strawberries. The cheesecake is light and not too sweet so it goes very well with the sweetness of the chocolate and the freshness of the strawberries. I would definitely order it again next time I go. <br/ <br/ The only thing I would mention is that I think the price for it is a bit excessive. But besides that, it really hit the spot.

Rating: 3.5<br/ First time coming here, and I have no idea why it took 19 years to even go here. Staff are friendly, seating is comfortable, and food is delicious. <br/ <br/ We got hot chocolate (milk) to end the cool rainy night, and it was the best thing I have ever had next to other dessert places like Brunetti. I somehow found their hot chocolate not too sweet, just perfect. <br/ <br/ We got the waffles which tasted crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. I’m not a fan of chocolate drizzle or chocolate, but the delicious vanilla icecream helped the taste of the chocolate it was a harmony of sweetness. The strawberry and banana made me feel less guilty about what I was indulging every consecutive second, but I would have preferred for the fruit to be colder and fresh. <br/ <br/ Good place to hang out. Would try the cold drinks on the menu!

Waffles were oomf, perfect for sharing. We ordered hot chocolates to go with them, but it made everything way too sweet. Definitely getting a bitter long black next time, to counteract all that the sugar.

Great place to unwind and wind up in a bowl of melted chocolate! Food amazing! Service great (could do a little better with some staff decor/ambience kind of a miss. Hence my 4.5 rather than 5. Fondue for two? I could easily polish off the whole serve myself : Also ordered the waffles with vanilla iced cream and fresh fruit. Price is of value as well : Oh oh! And don’t forget their signature cookie shake!

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar at Highpoint shopping centre is open late so it’s a great place to go for drinks dessert on a weeknight in the western suburbs. We ordered the white choc chai crunchy waffle balls dark hot chocolate. The white choc chai was not overly sweet the crunchy waffle balls dark hot chocolate was delicious. Service was polite, friendly fast.
