Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant recently relocated to a new spot. Upon entering, you may notice that the place could use some decorations. There are a few spacious tables, and it seems like the chef also serves as the server. However, don't let that discourage you. The pasta was incredibly tasty, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The noodles were handmade, which added to the overall experience. It's always a pleasure to be able to compliment the chef directly. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to check out this restaurant.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this exceptional restaurant in the Catskills that served some of the best pasta I've had in years. The atmosphere may not be what you expect, but the phenomenal and reasonably priced food more than makes up for it. I highly recommend it! The service was excellent, and I had a wonderful dining experience. Dinner prices range from $10 to $20 per person. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 for the delicious food.
I brought my girl up to Margaretville for her birthday. I wanted to find the finest restaurants to take her during our trip. I saw the high ratings and away we went to Trattoria Locale. The food was impeccable. My girl said she would remember those meatballs forever. I had the HOMEMADE fettucine with pesto, grilled chicken, blistered tomatoes and toasted pine nuts topped with grated ricotta. It was exactly what my Long Island spoiled stomach needed to finish our trip off... the chef, Darryl is a kind and very talented man. He makes a DAMN GREAT sauce, better than most places I've eaten at and that's saying a LOT considered I've spent most of my life eating sauce. I honestly wish I were staying up there longer so I could try more of his menu, but I think it's safe to say it doesn't get any better than Trattoria Locale and one of the best chefs I've had the privilege of dining at their restaurant. Thank you again, Darryl. Next time we come up, we WILL be back!
You may drive right by this place on Rt 28 in Margaretville. But your gonna want to turn around. Located in the old Crazy River Cafe building, the chef Daryl can cook a mean Italian meal. Homemade pasta and his blending of ingredients is amazing. Truly fantastic food. Just had tonight the lemon crème linguini with garlic and pistachios topped with shrimp. Outstanding. My wife had the basil pesto pasta with pine nuts and blistered tomatoes over chicken. Again...excellent. Try it!! You wont regret it.
We remembered trattoria locale from it's previous location and the extremely talented chef Daryl that did not disappoint us once again. We stopped in the new location for breakfast what a great surprise. The food was freshly prepared and the ricotta pancakes we're out of this world. We will definitely become a regular with good food and good prices you will not be disappointed. Meal type: Breakfast
