We had an excellent final dinner on our vacation at this restaurant. The owner was fantastic and made us feel right at home, and our server was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for top-notch Italian food prepared the right way. Every dish our group ordered was delicious, and we shared everything. I would give it a perfect 10/10!
We absolutely adore Davide's pizza and his pastas, not to mention the fantastic wine selections. Tonight, we savored a 2016 Brunello Montalcino from La Togata, perfectly paired with homemade pasta and seafood. The entertainment is always delightful as well. The portion sizes are just right—never too much. This has become one of our favorite spots for dinner. Everything is great!
We dined al fresco on the sidewalk, enjoying excellent service and live music throughout our meal. The dishes we ordered, from left to right, included the evening's special of shrimp and crab served over homemade pasta shells, Puttanesca made with angel hair pasta (a substitution), Pasta al Forno, Bolognese served with gnocchi instead of traditional pasta, and Spaghetti con Polpetti. While the bread served at the beginning of the meal likely wasn't made in-house and wasn't particularly impressive, it was sufficient to tide us over since we were hungry. Overall, we enjoyed our food and the experience, but we wouldn’t rate the food as five stars. It was good, but not quite at that level.
