Three of us visited for dinner around 7. The service (from host to bar to waiter) was spot on and great. Always attentive. The food was mediocre at best. I had the special “Blackened fish over rice with pineapple salsa.” The pineapple was canned sliced pineapple. It was evident. Not that canned pineapple is bad, but if I am payin $28 $30 for a dish out, I expect fresh. It was a whole 12 oz can of canned pineapple on top of fresh fish. The fish was perfectly cooked but ruined by canned pineapple. Also tried the conch fritters. They were ok, maybe slightly undercooked. But I am writing this review on day 2 and no upset stomach. So probably ok and edible. My husband had the chicken platter. It was grilled chicken on a lettuce leaf. No rice or potatoes or side item other than coleslaw. Bland and not worth the price. Our family member had conch chowder and dolphin gratínee. He stated the conch chowder could use more conch. It was seriously lacking. The gratinee went untouched. It looked unappetizing and apparently was. The atmosphere was great. The live music was good. The drinks were delicious. The food needs an overhaul.

It's closed. We went by boat but had to walk across the street to a different restaurant. Neither their website (which we looked at to see the menu) nor the phone indicates they are closed. So we made a trip with no idea they are closed.
I loved Sparkys in Key Colony before the hurricane remember the restaurant next to Holiday Inn before Sparky took over the space. I spent many nights there when I lived in Marathon. I doubt the new Sparkys is what I remember. The old Sparkys had dollar bills lining every available space. I heard the dollars we’re eventually taken down to redecorate before the hurricane. I hope you continue to thrive in your new space! Best to Matt and his staff,
