Chase Club - Mar del plata

I occasionally go here to support a friend's band. The workers are friendly enough. Service is okay, not great, but adequate. The drinks are over priced. $6.50 for a bottle of Bud Light and if you pay cash (which I prefer to do) they don't give change! So that makes it $7.00, plus a tip… so $8.00 for a beer. Been staying at chase for many years when we visit barnes hospital. Had Cornish hen, sweet potato purée desert was 5 star chocolate cake… great chef

Only had drinks on Christmas Eve so no info on food. With respect to drinks, really good bartender, lovely atmosphere, good drinks. (The bartender created a very, very good Sazerac.

Lovely! Live band played beautifully. A drink there called Country Thyme was so good, I replicated it. Had a nice thyme

Basically a burger joint in an upscale hotel. Not elegant dining. But we watched the ballgame so that offset some of the disappointment.
