Azul Restaurant Bar - Maputo

Great restaurant by the sea of Maputo, within one of the best hotels in the city. Great food, good service, nice and educated staff. The environment is really quiet. Prices are something on the expensive size, but at least they are the same with quality.

We had a very good meal at the Azul Restaurant and Bar. I had prawns and they were perfectly grilled and my wife had spring rolls and an avocado salad. Both was really fresh and tasty. The waiter, Valerio, was really attentive and friendly.

The reception was magnificent and the table where we sat was great. The waiter had great suggestions and knowledge when most dishes and their components.

The new items in the menu are absolutely delicious. The crabs are a must, and the surfing and lawn are perfectly cooked. Free rolls of bread were fresh and hot. For a vegetarian option, the eggplant parmigiana was so delicious you forget it is vegetarian! We've often eaten here and it's definitely worth coming back.
