Sam Sylk's - Maple Heights

Visited this venue on a Saturday around 7pm and to our delight walked in to live Jazz band. Cocktails were very delicious!

We attended the sweetest day event. It was wonderful except for the waitress that took care of us. She was unavailable to us most of the night and when I did stop her to clean the table and order more drinks, she said she had other tables to attend to. Very unprofessional. We had to go to the bar in the back for service which was very pleasant. Great show. Great food .

I called Sylk's, and the manager on duty offered to replace my order after informing me that they don’t actually sell hard tacos. If that’s the case, why are they listed on Door Dash? She suggested that my son return the food for a remake. I was disappointed by the lack of an apology or any expression of empathy from the manager. When my son brought the order back, the tacos looked better, but they still fell short of my expectations. The beef was overcooked and crunchy, the lettuce was slightly brown, there were more mushy bits (which I assumed were tomatoes), and there was no sour cream, even though it was listed on Door Dash. To top it off, the fried green tomatoes were bland and lacked seasoning. I’m giving them two stars because I have received better service from Sylk's in the past and they did offer to replace the order. However, I don’t plan on returning to this restaurant in the near future as this experience was a major disappointment.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was excellent, but the service was quite slow and seemed inexperienced.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the bartenders were friendly. However, I was not pleased with my meal. The chicken alfredo was overly salty for my taste.
