Jonny B's Sports - Mankato

I have visited Jonny B's multiple times, and every experience has been outstanding! This small restaurant can be easy to miss among the nearby shops, but it’s definitely worth checking out. It's a clean and well-decorated sports bar with friendly and efficient staff, and the seating is quite comfortable. What truly sets Jonny B's apart is their roast beef. Slow-roasted for an impressive 11 hours, it’s incredibly tender and probably the best roast beef you'll ever have! I usually opt for one of the junior sandwiches, which are still packed with generous portions of delicious beef — so much so that I often find myself needing a knife and fork! The fries are excellent, and the onion rings are superb, but if you're looking for the perfect side to accompany your sandwich, go for the chips. They also have a condiment bar that allows you to customize your sandwich to your liking. Our server recommended the jalapeño ranch dressing, and I’m so glad I listened — it's fantastic with just the right kick of spice. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu (though I’ll probably end up ordering the roast beef again because it’s simply the best!).

This restaurant is fantastic for both indoor and outdoor dining! The fries were a bit overcooked for our taste, but they readily made us a fresh batch. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly. The food was tasty, and the bar service was exceptional!

The roast beef sandwich I tried was truly exceptional—perhaps the best I’ve ever had. It was unbelievably tender. The staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you find yourself in Mankato, this is definitely a place you should check out!
