Bidra med feedbackI tried their bagnet sisig and it was really good. Though it was more on the spicy side but it was tasty. I would come back to try other variants.
The food here is great! The budget meals will be sure to fill you up--my favorite has always been the Original. Remember to ask for the soup and try to go during non-peak hours--during peak hours you'll have crowds of drunkish, noisy college kids and the place is too small for them to be ignored. (It will get so deafening that you will either leave or yell at them. The staff will not intervene. Yelling at them works, in my experience.
[2019-01-03] This is one of the stops in the ‘Taft Eats’ vlog of a foodie friend. I met up with him after going to my bank branch to pickup my ARC card. Though there are tables outside, it is still better to eat inside since it is literally a side walk where a lot of things are beyond the control of the proprietor (like the smells, noises, etc. We opted to eat ouside due to the dimly lit interior of the restaurant which can make taking a video more difficult.
8065 Bagnet is a no frills restaurant that caters to your craving of crispy, crunchy and yet tender slices of pork. I will have this to say though, this is not legit Bagnet this is more like Lechon Kawali. Flavor is still good but I feel like it lacks something; the authenticity of the Bagnet flavor is not there. Something to praise highly though is the service. Top notch! They are quick, attentive and always serves with a smile. Finally, food is cheap (fit for students) but the serving is more than enough. Will definitely come back when I get that craving again.
Will always be one of my favorites in taft. Their sisig bagnet has that extra kick of spiciness but still bearable. Also, their sinigang bagnet is a must try if you want some soup on your rice.
