In my opinion, this place offers the best fish and chips in Mangere Bridge (I haven't tried anything from their Chinese menu). The portions are generous, with big pieces of fish and well-cooked chips for a great price. The fritters are tasty, and they often include an extra or two. The hotdogs on a stick are also a good deal and perfect for a snack on a chilly winter afternoon! The service is quite fast as well. They have an 'A' rating, although the interior of the shop looks a bit old and run down.

I ordered the fish and chips and specifically requested my fish to be half-cooked. Unfortunately, it came out dry and overcooked. When I called to let them know, the person on the phone just laughed.

I absolutely love their chicken! I live in Manurewa, and every now and then, I travel all the way to Mangere Bridge just to get their chicken and chips—it's worth it! Unlike other places, the chicken skin is what really sets it apart. I can't get enough of it! The only downside is that the wait time can be a bit lengthy since it's so popular.

We frequently order takeout from this place, and the burgers are incredible. The patties don't taste like the typical takeout variety; they seem homemade, just like you would make yourself. They're a good size, too. The chips are always cooked perfectly, never overdone. We also often get spring rolls, which are delicious as well. I have nothing negative to report!
