Bidra med feedbackHey i may be biased but chocolate and fried pastry gets me anytime. the day i visited here was not a typical day for San Churro as it was stormy outside and
Cozy place to hang out, beautiful scenery and hot chocolate and churros are amazing.
I came here to use my entertainment voucher one weekend with my family. This place was packed and they one had two staff on. One was busy making all the complex desserts and another running back and forth delivering desserts/drinks and working at the till. Upstairs section was closed off which meant my party (4 adults and 2 kids) had to cram in two small tables pushed together borrowing chairs from everywhere. Due to the lack of staff I noticed the seagulls were having a feast on the left over food outside which was really off putting. Luckily we sat inside but I would hate to be sitting at a table where seagulls had walked all over! But maybe I'm being too much of a germaphob?
I had a great time enjoying the Milo hot chocolate bomb, and the churros were fantastic as always. However, the coffee was disappointing, and the service was quite slow, even though the place wasn't crowded. It was nice to unwind and enjoy a view of the water while indulging in some sweet treats. I brought home some macarons for the kids, and they absolutely loved them!
I was seated easily at 12:25 PM, right by the window with a fantastic view. The shop had an amazing aroma. I ordered a churro with chocolate sauce, which tasted incredible—golden brown and crunchy on the outside, and fluffy and soft on the inside. It was exactly what you’d expect from an authentic churro. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste, but my wife really enjoyed it. The coffee was great, and the service from a young girl was very friendly. She got busy later on but managed everything very well. I will definitely return. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing dessert and coffee by the water.
