Bidra med feedbackSadly Best seems to be under new ownership. The husband/wife/daughter team that used to work up front are gone but the chef does seem to be the same. The state of the place has declined. The dining area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months and there were dead bugs on one of the booths. As others have stated it seems the new ownership change has not been a positive one.
I have gone here for 30 years! Was always excellent food not anymore! I noticed the ladies at the counter are no longer there and the kitchen staff may have changed as well because the food is horrible. We ordered Beef broccoli a simple dish it was dripping with water there is no longer a thick savory sauce, boneless spare ribs no longer sweet sticky, fried rice horrible. We tried them 3 times over the past 2 months to give them a shot and see if it was a fluke. Unfortunately it wasn’t! Too bad Lum Yen Tung Hoy are long gone!
Ordered takeout for the first time- service was good they made sure to listen to my order carefully and check the food. Food was good except crab rations were too burned to eat
Your food is amazing, especially your shrimp rolls! My wife and I wish you would offer delivery!
I called in an order for pick up. They messed up the order. When I tried to explain that they didn’t give me what I ordered and it would have made my family member sick because of an allergy they became dismissive and extremely rude. And she proceeded to talk about me. I go here all the time but this was the first negative experience. I won’t be returning.
