Rock Salt Steaks Seafood

I 've been to this place years ago and thought to stop by today because it said Steak and Seafood . When I walked in it looks like the old dance bar I knew 20 years ago. Nothing seemed to have changed. I saw tenderloin on the menu and got excited. Medium well please with garlic mashed potatoes. the food arrived. Immediately I notice a bad taste to the meat. As if it was spoiled. And it was tough. A tenderloin is tough? I eat tenderloin twice per week so I know what i 'm talking about. I thought the meat would grow on me but as i took more bites the taste became worse, sealing my convictions. I brought this to the waitresses attention in the bar. Not quite sure I understand how she replied except with a blank stare and no response. I hate to complain about food so i let it go. ok well thank you very much and I will not be back to order steak, but perhaps next time your fish and chips. This is not a steak house. It was the worst piece of meat I had in years. I could buys safeway 's special $10 for 5lbs of rum roast or whatever and I 'm confident it would have tasted better. buyer beware. However, the mashed potatoes and veggies were outstanding. Rock Salt...get your meat in order!

I read the reviews and should have listened. Bad service. When I asked for my check she wondered where my oysters were. Then tried to give me them to go. Slow. Inattentive.

Great seafood/steakhouse with awesome views!
