I finally had the opportunity to visit Susan's in Malolos! It was my first time traveling north in a while, and after driving from Muntinlupa, we reached Malolos in just an hour via Skyway stage 3 NLEX. Susan's is renowned for their delicious lugaw and tokwa't baboy with vinegar. Make sure to try all the dishes that pair perfectly with their special vinegar. Their large, thick okoy, lumpiang togue, and tokneneng all tasted amazing with Susan's special vinegar! Everything was excellent! Don't forget to try some puto leche for dessert to finish off your meal. Established in 1985, Susan's now has three branches in Bulacan. The other branches are in Tabang (the first) and in Tuktukan. The Malolos branch is the newest and, in my opinion, the most conveniently located. The best times to visit are early mornings or late afternoons if you're craving lugaw. Additionally, they offer sizzling sisig and grilled bangus which we plan to try soon! Susan's Malolos is situated just a few meters away from Vista Mall Malolos, along Manila North Road (MacArthur Highway). It's on the right side of the road when coming from Manila.
