Bidra med feedbackMy second time here, both work lunches, and it's safe to say I'm a fan. Both occasions we were here it was relatively slow. I can imagine Ollie's being a popular after work hangout as there are plenty of gastropub bar selections to please almost anyone. During my visits I've enjoyed the build-your-own burger option with the very tasty fries. It's a great feature with many options to customize your meal however, adds up quickly! My friend was surprised how much he liked the duck dip (as well as the portion size). It was a savory dish but he indicated it was worth every tasty drop. Definitely pay the extra for the fries as it's worth the 2 upgrade. Service has been good on both occasions and quite attentive. It seems to get a little chilly on overcast days especially with the unique outdoor seating on the perimeter. Parking can be a challenge at times in this particular shopping center but overall Ollie's is worth it.
Might be because we came right when they were open, but we had great service from three separate workers. We loved the hostess! I was extremely disappointed they didn't have the duck dive burger so I settled for a breakfast burrito. This is why I gave 4 stars. My breakfast burrito was hefty and the sauce added a nice tang that was much needed because the egg, rice, and beans in the burrito wrap was very carby. The eggs were fluffy and had good bite. It was incredibly filling. The salad was lightly acidic and full of the fronds that were harder to fit in an average mouth, but it was nice! We came on the 4th of July and appreciated that the playlist matched the theme of the day haha. The space and facilities are nice. I wish there was a hook in the bathroom!
A Malibu Diamond Well I've driven to the big blue ocean a hundred times And I've tried Duke's and Gladstone's and others But if I had my druthers Good old Ollie's Duck and Dive You've got the food and the jive That Bison or turkey burger Leads me to the mystery Leads me to my raison d'être Leads me to culinary heavens The dessert of campfire cookie Is certainly not for rookies It is the crossroads of gelato Marshmallow and chocolate chips Let me declare y'all take such care From heavy silverware to A+ food Equals an uplifted mood.
Tucked in a small shopping center in Malibu, this is a nice yet casual place. Most recently came on a Friday night for dinner and there was no wait. The Mary's bowl is delish with chicken, rice, greens, roasted peppers, corn, watermelon radish, sunflower seeds, lemon vinaigrette, and an amazing lime crema to top it off. I ordered the steak skewers and truffle fries. The steak skewers were kind of small, but they were flavorful and came with a chimichurri sauce. The truffle fries were perfectly crispy and came with kale. They also have many cocktail and beer options, tried the Old Fashioned with a cherry this time but it was a bit strong for me. Service is a bit slow, but the food is great so I'll definitely be back.
Place is good. I'm food hunter so I was satisfied. The only thing they didn't asked me how I want my stake cook, medium rear or well done, which made me believe that it was cooked yesterday, but it was so DELICIOUS, so after I had no questions. I can be lost a lil bit after night on orgy with French lesbians, but this place looks to me 5 of a 5! Waitress has good body shape and Harley Quin pony-tales Dinner for 2, no alcohol 40$, which is made this place more than good. Pictures attached.
