Malakoff Terrasse - Mainz

Malakoff terrace is operated by hyatt in front of the hyatt and offers an excellent ambiente, especially with good weather outdoors with views of the Rhine excellent dining and drinks. we were very happy.

We came for some drinks and coffee. the weather was great so we could enjoy the outside world, the many visitors and the great view of the Rhine. the service was not very attentive, but that was not really important due to the many things.

Directly on the Rhine. in summer on the open terrace - simply wonderful. close to - also the buildings of the fortification, which were built to protect the city, are pretty.To be honest, the menu was not kept in memory, as the natural beauty was given more attention. the service is good, the prices are somewhat higher than usual. also the visitors are solid.

Nice place to stay and stroll. in the summer full of beautiful beer gardens, and restaurants with seating on the Rhine. especially the cafe on the small island that can be reached via the bridge is absolutely idylish

The restaurant overlooking the Rhine is located in the hyatt hotel. in summer terrace management. the lunch card offers 3 courses, which can be customized. you don't have to order all three. I have eaten in the last few years for instance a dozen times there, it was always good, the portions are not huge, but for me as a midday table completely sufficient and fair priced.The service is attentive, but not intrusive. the modern and well-maintained and through the glassfont to the Rhine very bright.
