Bidra med feedbackIreland: We can't promise u a warm weather but what we can promise a warm welcome
While it may be small, the lounge is quite comfortable, especially if you arrive early and claim a spot at one of the low tables with the cozy leather chairs. Amenities include tea, coffee, baked pastries, and excellent stone-milled bread that pairs wonderfully with the rich butter available in their mini-fridge. For families, there’s a kids' playroom accessible through a glass door, and a small business area with two iMacs and an HP laser printer behind another glass door for those last-minute printing needs. What truly distinguishes this lounge is the staff's friendliness. They are eager to provide directions for shopping in the two terminals, quick to assist with any airport-related requests, and even allowed me to borrow a EU-UK charger, patiently helping me as I fumbled for a power outlet behind their desk. When I apologized for being a bother, the staff reassured me that they were there to help and that no request would be too much trouble. I look forward to returning, and if you find yourself with a layover in Dublin, this is the must-visit lounge.
When comparing this lounge to the Aer Lingus lounge just a few meters away, or even the lounge in Terminal 1, it becomes clear that this lounge does not provide the business traveler with nearly as much as others do. If you've been to the Etihad lounge, you'll know what a top-notch business class lounge in Dublin Airport should look like. Given my experience, I would likely choose to eat at a restaurant in the concourse area of Terminal 2 in the future—at least there, I'd have a better chance to enjoy a decent meal.
The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, and it's relatively quiet. While they don't serve a hot breakfast and the pastries can be inconsistent, the yogurt cups and mini smoothies are quite delightful.
It's a shared lounge for multiple airlines, but it's quite satisfactory.
