General My wife and I stayed for the first time in Taverne Sorbas on the 1st Christmas day. The reason for visiting the restaurant was the invitation of my parents who have eaten more often in Taverna Sorbas. Operation My mother-in-law had reserved.We were kindly greeted and we were quickly assigned to the reserved table. The service in itself was very polite and always striving.They seemed slightly stressed, which seems to be too comprehensible due to the full restaurant on Christmas, but at no time did this to us. Food The food came quite fast. I had ordered the Makedonia cellar, a plate consisting of Suflaki and pork fillet in a cheese sauce. Tastefully, the meat was very well grilled to the point.The sauce was very good.Pricely, my dish was about 15 Euro, but I couldn't eat the extremely large portion completely.Friendlyly, the rest was packed with me and I had something from the Makedonia cellar the next day. My wife had ordered the Gyrospfanne. The Gyros tasted very fresh.The associated metaxasauce was well spiced and hit the taste of my wife. The price of 11,50Euro is a real bargain, because the price-performance ratio is right. I can no longer remember the dishes of my mother-in-law so well, but they also seemed to be satisfied, and they were not for the first time to visit. The ambience of the interior designer who built the Taverna must have real respect. We are more often in Greek restaurant, but we have not longed for such a concept.It has reminded us of our holiday on Kos.From the outside, the tavern seems inconspicuous, but you get into it pleasure for vacation.
General A very welcoming ambience in which one feels like on Crete has made us regained on Friday. We were very friendly welcome and of course there was also something cold clear for stomach preparation. We were served fast and friendly. The small salad, which is available for each main dish, reached us 5 minutes after ordering the dishes and also the two main dishes were on the table within about a vietel hour. In the meantime, we were inquired about our well-being and were careful to have enough to drink. The map is clearly held, but still covers the typical dishes. Our food (gyro leaves and chickens baked in metaxas sauce with cheese) were very delicious. The chicken was wonderfully juicy and the gyro did not smell of fat. We didn't make a dessert anymore because the portions were plentiful. So kuz and close: happy again! Above all, we received a 5 € voucher for a next visit! Great idea! Operation Very friendly and attentive! The ambience here was really creative and has enchanted something great from an old warehouse! Just like in a real tavern. Cleanliness gave nothing to complain
General We met yesterday with friends in Sorbas for dinner and were very friendly received. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was hardly ready again. Some friends packed their food and took it home. We'll be back soon. Operation The operation at Sorbas is always very nice and competent. Tasso and Maria speak well German. They are always interested in the guests who feel comfortable. Best Greek hospitality. The food is Greek, very rich, freshly prepared and delicious. Gyros is always fresh, like salads always fresh and crisp. The atmosphere of Sorbas is looking for the same in Magdeburg. The best to see the pictures. Cleanliness In the restaurant everything is perfectly clean.
I had arrived with my wife at short notice and not planned in the restaurant. It was well visited, but there was another table for two. The welcome was very warm and friendly. We ordered the drinks and looked into the menu. This is not reduced to 20 pages, but to the essential. As usual with Greeks there was Ouzo and a small appetizer salad. The salad was fresh and crisp.... As an appetizer we had garlic bread and pastry bags with sheep cheese. The main dishes were also on site and very well seasoned...(Gyros, Metaxasosse and Giorgiossteller). The prices are absolutely okay. We were there for the first time, but certainly not for the last time.
