Monchis Galeria Canalejas - Madrid

The food was OK but extremely overpriced in our criteria. It would have been a 7/10 meal if it wasn’t because the place is so small and so crowded that the noise is unbearable. We hear all the time the table sitting next to us, and noises coming from everywhere.

Italian like an Italian. Food delicious, service excellent. Recommendable, a true Insider. We had the parmigiana di melanzane: Perfect! The carpacio: was good. Just straigt the way it is. The Carbonara: top. The Tagliatelle with Gorgonzola finished in Grana Padano cheese: excellent balance of taste!

Una delicia de italiano “escondido” en el mismo centro de Madrid. Excelente trato y una cocina muy muy italiana. Una sensacional sorpresa.

This is a amazingly good Italian restaurant. The larger than life pizza chef smiles when he is making the pizzas and this love truly is reflected in the quality served and his interaction with customers. Waiters were excellent, friendly and keen to help. Highly recommend this restaurant.
