Monchis Galeria Canalejas - Madrid

The food was OK but extremely overpriced in our criteria. It would have been a 7/10 meal if it wasn’t because the place is so small and so crowded that the noise is unbearable. We hear all the time the table sitting next to us, and noises coming from everywhere.

This is a amazingly good Italian restaurant. The larger than life pizza chef smiles when he is making the pizzas and this love truly is reflected in the quality served and his interaction with customers. Waiters were excellent, friendly and keen to help. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Italian like an Italian. Food delicious, service excellent. Recommendable, a true Insider. We had the parmigiana di melanzane: Perfect! The carpacio: was good. Just straigt the way it is. The Carbonara: top. The Tagliatelle with Gorgonzola finished in Grana Padano cheese: excellent balance of taste!

Booked Davvero after reading several positive reviews. The service was attentive yet not intrusive. Food every dish wonderful. Especially their outstanding pizzas. Cocktails were spot on really well presented and delicious. Their ice cream some of the finest that I have enjoyed in a long while.
