Madison Wine Tap Room

The food was incredibly delicious. We had a reservation and were seated immediately in a small room away from the main bar and crowded areas. Our waitress was prompt and took our drink orders, which turned out to be very tasty. We ordered a starter and two small plates. My small plate arrived first, while my salad came later, and my partner received nothing for nearly ten minutes. It took almost ten more minutes before his food was brought out. We decided to order a second round of drinks, but again, it took over ten minutes to receive them, which was quite disappointing. The small plates were indeed very small, and considering the price, they didn’t feel worth it. The salad was good, and the drinks were excellent, but overall, the restaurant seemed a bit disorganized. I don’t think I’ll be rushing back anytime soon.

The bar has a really pleasant atmosphere. The food is good, but it's a bit pricey for what you receive.

We waited 10-15 minutes for our drinks, and during that time, our chips and cheese plate arrived before the drinks did. However, we didn't have any plates or utensils to enjoy them with. We ended up asking for three setups for four people! After our appetizers, we ordered pizza and requested items like red pepper and salt, but only received them when we were almost done eating. While the food was very good, the service was disappointing. The hostess tried to assist us, but the server seemed confused. Unfortunately, we didn’t see a manager, which really would have helped address the issues.

First time experience wasn’t the best. Sat w/no service, not even water, for 20 minutes. When a server finally came over w/water, she apologized said she wasn’t going to be our server but would go ahead take our order. She ended up keeping our table her service was great!! Next time we’ll sit the bar b/c the bartenders seemed to be very attentive.

Portions were very small for price, and food for four guests was brought out at 4 different times. Was not seen by a server for a long time after initially ordering, restaurant was very loud.
