The Smoke House - Macon

I had the smoked meat plate and everything was delicious! Besides, it was a huge amount of meat. Probably at least one pound. The smoked Turkey was the best for my surprise. They also have a hot bacon salad dressing that was for dying. Great prices, great food, great waiting staff and a great experience.

Decades ago, a friend shared his smoked wild turkey with me. Since then, I haven't smoked turkey so well... until now that the smokehouse in Macon opened! The food is never disappointed! Last night they prepared an excellant Ahi Tuna Steak menu! Macon is so happy to have this place. I have eaten a lot of grill in Kansas City and in Memphis and this place rivals The best of the best. And the service cannot be overhauled either!

The building itself is just an absolute enjoyment of the eye, the history behind it and only the classic rustic setting is everything you could see in a bbq joint! The service was great, saw nothing as smiles and good moods from all in the building! The food was incredible! I had the zartoin and the bread and the overall taste was something a bbq restaurant should be proud of! Definitely my new favorite place to eat in Macon keep the good work

Orded the Sampler plated both times I ate here and was tasty, fill and many rests to take home, sworn by guys! Excellent food. Very recommended!

Great find! Welcome was warm despite their being very busy. Brisket was perfect and comes in close to Franklin BBQ in Austin. Smoked turkey was moist and had great flavor. Rib eye dinner special was plentiful and cooked perfectly. Prices are reasonable. Quality extraordinary. Family owned and run rivals the efficiency of a Swiss watch. Great people. Great place. Don't miss it.
