Bidra med feedbackI love love this place. The food is delicious. In a week I?ve been twice. The first time I had the creme brûlée French toast and the pork rolls. The second time I had the drunken beef noodles. My bf had the chicken and waffles. All of the food was tasty but I would say the French toast was the absolute best! It was soooo good you really didn?t need syrup. It comes with bacon and a mini hash brown. I would come back every Sunday for that. It is on the brunch menu on Sunday?s.I am not sure if it is sold throughout the week or not. The chicken and waffles was good as well. The chicken looked beautiful lol. The drunken beef noodles was okay. Nothing special really. Try the pork rolls! They were also delicious! Iwould go back and try another Thai dish. Other dishes that were coming out looked good as well. The space is small so I imagine it can be a bit of a wait if it is busy but they are quick to serve you so it probably would not be a problem. They also have a fried ice cream dessert I would like to try. In short, I Definitely recommend this place, on Sunday anyway.
So as much as I eat out and review I have never tried pho or Thai period so today I decided to try the beef pho I did get a Togo plate so excuse the presentation. Let me start off by saying the owner was extremely friendly and has great customer service second it was fair quick service for fresh cooked food. As far as the pho you can taste every single seasoning in the broth I want to try other thing on the menu but since it was lunch I didn?t want to over do it but I willtry this place again. Warning the pics I took of the menu may not have corrected price because as we all know all food has went up but the owner explained prices also.
I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately I was disappointed with everything except the main course. The spring rolls were bland, the coconut soup tasted more like mushroom soup with a hint of lime, and the mango with sticky rice dessert had unripe and hard mangoes. The massaman chicken was flavorful, even though it was made with peanuts instead of cashews. The service was also lacking, with the girl who assisted us displaying a bad attitude. While the curry satisfied my craving, overall the dining experience fell short of expectations.
Sadly LaDDa Bistro has closed. Chef Tom was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. The restaurant equipment has been liquidated. Please keep Chef Tom and his family in your prayers.
