Bidra med feedbackI can't say enough good things about this place! that was the first time I had eaten here, although I stopped every time I was in macon for a few months. I was honest blown away! the service was fast and instant. Moreover, the server expected our needs and had what we wanted on the table before we even asked. for example I ordered water with lemon. without the server bringing a plate with a few extra lemons for future refills. this is not the type of service they receive in the rule of most places, and if they have the excellent eating and the wonderful, clean atmosphere, a return is not a difficult decision. the prices were reasonable and there was no waiting time for our lunch party of four. I have heard that this place has already booked most if not all their reservations for the upcoming Mother's Day holiday available, and based on my experience today, I can certainly see why. I would not hesitate to bring a business partner or potential customers here, or even. my mother! I will definitely return and cannot recommend this place very much!
I love the concept of edgar’s bistro, which connects with the culinary school. the atmosphere is welcoming and romantic, great for Valentine's Day dinner! we had a wee pairing with each cure, starting with chirschglas ente salat with balsamico vinegar dressing that perfectly paired with the proposed wein. I had the red snapper that was easy, perfectly baked and fried, with risotto and green bean, and my wife had the huhn normandy, the sauce loving and scaled kartoffels and green bean that accompanied the huh. the fish was paired with a medium-sized, crunchy sauvignon blanc, and the chicken dish was paired with a hearty pinot noir, and both went perfectly with the dressed. everything was delicious, right up to dessert trio, paired with a delicious mascarto. the personal was very attentive and accommodating. we will definitely revise and support the culinary students as they complete their training while working in connection with edgar’s bistro! job well done!
Ate dinner, Gumbo, Steak and Creme Brulee. Portions were perfect, Gumbo spicy, but flavorful. Wine complimented steak, green beans cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes creamy, little cool. The ambience was great, background music volume was right on. Server personally cooked Tortilla soup which someone at our table loved. Overall wonderful evening, not overpriced. It's a culinary school restaurant. Well done. Recommend for business dinner, dates, intimate family gathering.
What a wonderful meal! Service was warm and friendly. The food was delicious. We each ordered a different entree and dessert and each loved every dish. Would certainly eat there again. So much for the price.
A very good restaurant with students who learn their learned and culinary and hospitality skills. our waitress tara was very friendly and helpful in our selection on lunchtime items. shitaki blt and the flat iron steak were both very good. Come out and try. yes, their hours are not 7 days per week. but the days they are open make it a point to go out and enjoy a good meal, and help culinary students improve their skills.
