Bidra med feedbackOne of the few places left that actually gives you a good amount of food for the price on most menu items. Everything we've gotten has been very good. Classic meat and two or meat and three style plates that change daily to a weekly rotation. They have desserts too. Parking is a little scarce around the lunch rush, but it is free parking, which is a huge plus. They have a dine in area during lunch and a take out area that is open until later after the dining roomcloses. They shut down for a while during the Coronapocalypse, but are back and still a really good place to get classic southern food.
Use to be great I ordered fried chicken collards and macaroni and cheese corn read and banana pudding. Let's just say I ate all the crunchy off the chicken it was fried to hard and the meat was grey I went at 11 so I was expecting it to be fresh. Nope the greens tasted like canned greens and the macaroni never tasted like that before I took 2 bites and was done the cornbread was super dry I was just so disappointed. I know people change but I hate their food changed it use to be so good
Man, talk about delicious. I have to convince myself not to come every day (serious). if they do nothing else, they try it limonade and fried chicken. excellent! it does not hurt that they have a fantastic sitting area in free and extremely friendly staff.
Great place for lunch. the food is served in cafeteria style. eating is always hot, fast and delicious. they will be sad if they do not order makkaroni and cheese! many parking spaces on the street or behind the restaurant. drive slowly around the restaurant. people are everywhere!
Good southern cuisine! cafeteria style serve. you're going to the line. good customer service! comes to check tables often on customers. would definitely recommend!
