Kevin's Place - Mackay

brief search online, we found this little gem of a restaurant called "Taste of Asia". The decor was simple yet inviting, with soft lighting and traditional Asian artwork on the walls. We were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. The menu had a great variety of dishes from different Asian cuisines, and we ended up ordering the pad thai and the kung pao chicken. The food was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of spice and flavor. Overall, our dining experience at Taste of Asia was fantastic and we left feeling satisfied and happy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Asian cuisine in Mackay.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The staff was very accommodating, the ambiance was great with a setup that felt like it was in an old Post Office building. They also offered indoor seating for those who prefer not to sit outside and watch rowdy locals.

I highly recommend the Singaporean cuisine at this restaurant. The Calamari is a popular choice among locals. While their lunches are fantastic, I particularly enjoy their nightly banquet.

Heard a lot about it and thought it must be good turned out to be very disappointing - i had the Szechuan chicken hot plate and crab fried rice - tasted like barbecue flavoring on the chicken no hint of chilli - crab fried rice...More

We had a wonderful meal here for a large party with great service and plenty of food. Most enjoyable night.
