Hot Wok - Mackay

This is one of the top restaurants in Mackay! The service is excellent and the menu is perfect for a delicious dinner. Prices range from A$20 to A$40 per person. I highly recommend trying the Honey Chicken, Shan Choy Bow, Mongolian Beef, and Special Fried Rice.

Grabbed takeaway. Fried rice was clumped white rice barely heated a few peas and 1 or 2 bits of ham. All I could taste was soy sauce. Sweet and sour pork sauce was tomato sauce vinegar and whatever. 1 slice of carrot 1 bit of zucchini. Disgusted with my meal. Worst $50 I have spent. An absolute gem in Mackay! Authentic Chinese and exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and perfect for dates or gatherings. My family loved the Singapore noodles, combination omelette and black pepper steak. Highly recommended, will definitely be back! Decent Chinese restaurant, very quick to bring out the dishes. Tried the roasted duck, it was more like fried, nevertheless tasted good. The coconut rice is a bit too sweet to my taste. The sizzling plate looked really tasty, and that’s will be something I try later.
