Subway - Lynchburg

Michelle gave me the best service I've ever had at a subway! Thank you Michelle for your thoughtfulness in helping prepare my sub for today and tomorrow!

I explained that I wasn’t trying to rush them; I just wanted to keep my customers updated and decide whether to wait. I thought things were improving when a younger staff member, who was very polite, told me my order was coming up. I thanked her and mentioned that I still had another order to pick up. Then, the older woman snapped at me angrily, asking if I had ever worked in fast food. I replied that I hadn’t and questioned her anger. She proceeded to scold me for asking about the order's timeline, insisting I should see they were already making it. I reiterated that I was just trying to communicate with my customers. At that point, she aggressively bagged my food and told me to hurry up and leave so I could make my money. It’s clear that whoever manages this location—or even corporate—needs to review the treatment of customers through the security footage. I will NEVER return to this place. My advice to the staff is that if you can’t handle the pressure, perhaps you shouldn’t be working in a kitchen. No one is forcing you to be there, and if it’s too stressful, there are other opportunities out there. People are living through a lot, and being disrespectful nowadays can lead to unpredictable reactions. It's important to remember that kindness goes a long way. I sincerely wish the staff peace and healing in their lives, but based on my experience between 7:30 and 8 p.m. (I was wearing a blue jacket), I cannot recommend this location.

This is one of the least appealing Subway locations in town. The staff can be quite rude, and they often make mistakes with orders.

I visited this location yesterday and ordered a footlong meatball sub. The gentleman behind the counter, who I believe is named Noah, was very kind. Unfortunately, the woman he was working with seemed a bit frustrated. When Noah asked her about a specific sub, she didn't seem to hear him and responded in an angry tone. I don’t know much about the food industry, but the way she spoke to him was quite unprofessional. As a parent of a child in the LGBTQ community, it hurt to hear her speak to him in that manner. I commend Noah for handling the situation like an adult and maintaining his composure. Keep your head up, Noah!

**Vegetarian Options:** They offer a wide variety of choices for vegetarians. **Dietary Restrictions:** You can customize your sandwich with your preferred ingredients. **Parking:** There is ample parking available in front and on both sides of the restaurant, as it's located in a shopping center, giving you plenty of options. **Kid-Friendliness:** I'm confident that children are welcome here. Like at any establishment, it's important to keep an eye on them, but the environment is definitely family-friendly.
