Sonny's Pizzeria Of Luxemburg

I've visited this location in Luxemburg a few times. The pizza is decent, and the service is usually acceptable. However, my last visit was definitely my last. I found hair in several pieces of my pizza, which is truly unacceptable. I'm not sure if the staff wears hairnets, but having hair in your food is absolutely revolting, especially when it appears in multiple spots and several strands were sticking out of one piece of crust. This makes me question whether it was accidental or not. It was just awful. We ordered the pizza on September 12th, and whoever was working that day really needs to rethink their hygiene practices. To the owner: I have pictures as evidence. This might indicate a serious issue or a very poor sense of humor.

This restaurant is a welcome addition to a previously underserved area and makes for a great stop when heading to Door County. They offer an excellent lunch buffet that features pizza, chicken, and salad, with drinks available for an extra charge. There's plenty of parking, which is especially helpful if you're driving a large SUV. Conveniently located right on the main road through town, it's easy to spot. The staff is extremely friendly, and I was impressed by how clean the restaurant is— I've seen bathrooms with more decor and cleanliness than in some hotel rooms!

I waited over an hour for our food, and we noticed that people who arrived after us received their meals before we did. All we ordered was two kids' spaghetti, a cod super, and some ravioli. I’m not very impressed, and I think it will be a while before we return.

Yeasty, homemade dough. Sweet homemade sauce. Fresh, savory toppings and more real cheese than you can imagine. We are talking 3lb brick. ???? Awesome salad bar, amazing staff. Worth the drive from Oklahoma.
