Vipore - LUCCA

Posto unico per posizione ed atmosfera, per chi non è troppo affezionato ai ristoranti stellati ma lo stesso esige un livello qualitativo alto,uova e carne secca del pontormo,bistecca cotta sulla brace,le ineguagliabili patatine fritte....buona anche la scelta dei vini ,servizio ottimo e attento,apprezzatissimi gli amici a quattro zampe e addirittura 28 euro di sconto.A presto.

Nice welcome, good atmosphere but the food and service lack any finesse! Some of the pasta was over cooked and for an Italian owned restaurant that should be a big NO NO! Compared to other restaurants I felt it was pricey and observed that the local clientele was served their food long before other patrons that arrived there much earlier. One of the servers (lady with glasses) was unhappy, rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there nor provide great service! Will never return nor recommend for others to visit.

I have been many times to Vipore with my family and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and the view over Lucca is breathtaking. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic Tuscan cusine! P.S. remember to order the fries

For the first time in italy all the pasta that we order was overcooked. The service was poor. Local wine is good.
