I went to the J&M barbecue on slide Road and food delicious customer service wonderful I recommend anyone and everyone to go there for your barbecue needs

The jalapeño sausage was great, the other type was not tasty at all... the meat seemed, I don't know, odd. The sides were really good. We got a party platter, I highly recommend it

There is a sign on the window that says all of their meals come with onions, jalapenos, pickles on the meal. I didn't think it would be necessary to request them. Got my Frito pie home and was disappointed to see it had none of those things. Bummed.

Chopped brisket sandwich didn't have much flavor. The ribs were dry, they should have cut to order, they were precut and dry. Potato salad was good.

At one time I considered J M the best Bbq in Lubbock. The brisket and sausage looked and tasted like it had come straight out of the oven. The brisket had no smoke ring no seasoning to speak of. No smoke on the sauge and it tasted like it had gone bad. Can't complain about the sides they were good. I doubt the original owner is still here. He would never put out food that was so pathetic.
