Stix Stones - LOWER PLENTY

We stopped for Sunday lunch at Stix Stones during a long bike ride from Richmond to Diamond Creek and back. The staff were friendly and allowed us to leave our bikes in their shed. Our server, possibly named Jess, was very talkative. Unfortunately, the outdoor dining area was closed, but she seated us at a good table by the window. After our ride, we enjoyed a refreshing pint each before ordering burgers, one with a side salad and the other with chips to share. When we decided to order another drink but wanted smaller portions, we ended up receiving pints instead of pots that we had requested. Despite offering to pay for the pints, the manager insisted we should be charged for them. This left a sour taste in our mouths, and we are unsure if we would visit again due to this experience with the management.

Our previous experience at this restaurant was excellent, but this time we were unable to secure a reservation. Despite receiving confirmation for our booking, we were called on the day of our reservation and told that only 3pm lunch spots were available. This was disappointing as it was my son's birthday, which I had mentioned when making the reservation. When we tried to go to the restaurant directly, we were told they were fully booked, despite there only being two very small groups nearby. Oh well, our first visit was enjoyable.

I was in stix and stones a few times. I loved each time I left. never disappointed. eating is amazing. both tasty and presentation beautiful. my casual visits with friends and family were great. I love the atmosphere. the cocktails were also delicious. we loved it here so much that we had my daughter 18th there with about 40 guests. it was perfect. the food service was all the best. Nothing was too hard. the management was fantastic. the waiting staff we had were too super highly recommended this restaurant for a casual dinner or a function

I came to the brunch with a friend one morning. long story short, we waited almost an hour for our food, the mistake was discovered that our order had been placed somewhere in the kitchen wrong. the staff was extremely apologetic, organized the food, told us they would delete our bill. this gesture was very appreciated! we didn't expect that at all, so thank you. Eating was nice, restaurant is beautiful and the staff was so friendly. definitiw a new fave!

The food was delicious, although ended a series of entrees instead of ordering any meal, as I don't particularly like to take something immediately
