Bidra med feedbackI absolutely love the Inglenook! Rod and his team are wonderful hosts. My favorite dish is the sliders—they're incredibly delicious. The fresh salad with their homemade dressing, featuring cracked pepper and parmesan, is amazing as well. Just writing this makes me crave it! I definitely need to stop by again soon.
Ambiance was nice, quiet. Service was very good. My seafood bisque portion was small and overpriced, containing 3 4 shrimp, a scallop, with tiny lobster bits floating in the sauce. My wife's encrusted salmon was fairly sized, but also overpriced. Both entries did not include salad and the green vegetable side was scant. I found it incredulous that bread was not served with the meal as with most restaurants. For the money it's just o.k.
This restaurant is amazing! It has a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, an excellent wine selection, and it competes for the title of the best food in northern Colorado. The Gambas al Ajillo (a shrimp appetizer) is reason enough to return. The service was impeccable, and the owner greeted every guest I saw come in.
This is where we go for special dinners. it has great food and excellent service. It has recently been renovated as well.
Overall, the experience was not worth the price. The lobster ravioli was bland and drenched in sauce. The portion was very small, with tiny ravioli and even smaller pieces of lobster, and it cost $20 without including a salad. Happy hour was disappointing too—it's the smallest martini glass I've ever seen, and the drink tasted watered down. The wine only filled a quarter of the glass. I won't be recommending this place or returning.
