Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley - LOVEDALE

Enjoyed a great family meal on a Saturday night evening. Particularly appreciative of their knowledge and professionalism in providing a beautiful experience for our gluten free guest. Just what we needed to ensure a relaxed time together.

My parter and I were looking forward to our 3 course dinner at Redsalt during our stay last Saturday evening. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Courses were well presented on the plate, but with every course the sauces were tasteless or unpalatable. Very disappointed.

First family visit to the Crowne. Friendly Staff, great restaurant setting for the Hunter Valley and 3-course meal was great. Very relaxed and cosy night in!

As a frequent visitor to the Hunter Valley i was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of the food at Redsalt. The food was exquisite, cooked perfectly and service was excellent We were there as a group of 6, we all agreed our food...was of high standard. Breakfast at Redsalt was also one of the best breakfasts in the Hunter Valley. Great Variety and quality. The coffee was really good which was an added bonus. Will definanately return.

We had the 5 course degustation dinner paired with wine. The service was good, the food was fantastic. Unfortunately the wines selected were of poor quality, so while the wine itself improved with the matched food, this only lifted the chosen wines to an average...standard. than half of our wine was returned. My advice if attending Redsalt is to try the degustation menu but avoid the wine pairing and instead chose your own wine to make the experience more enjoyable overall.
