Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse

For sushi enthusiasts, Sapporo on Bardstown previously posed a downside with its dinner-only hours. However, this new location not only offers lunch but is also more spacious, brighter, and more attractive than its predecessor. It features an amazing covered patio equipped with fans, perfect for soaking up the downtown ambiance. Inside, the hibachi area is somewhat secluded, while the sushi section is open, beautifully decorated, and equipped with flat-screen TVs for solo diners to enjoy. The food is just as good, if not better, than the Bardstown spot. I absolutely loved the Big Mouth Roll and was pleasantly surprised by my friend's Kentucky Downtown Roll, which included fried chicken! Additionally, they are open to special requests off the menu, which is fantastic. Overall, this new spot is a wonderful addition to the downtown dining scene, especially for lunchtime!
