The Venue - Los Angeles

Had a different bar destination in mind but they were closed due to electricity issues so we came here instead. It's a nice lounge but it was really deserted and had no signs of getting livelier. We had one drink and went somewhere else.

Omg The Venue is my absolute favorite karaoke in Koreatown. I hosted my 40th birthday here, and even a school fundraiser event. I also love to come here for fun all the time. Food is good, service is even better, they have a great selection of drinks (except soju, but that is not a problem at all for me), dance floor and DJ on the weekends and a fun bar lounge area too. The karaoke system is great. They have the Korean TJ machine as well as a YouTube connection so you can literally sing any song you can think of. Hands-down the best in Koreatown. Literally!!

On Friday, October 20th, I visited The Venue LA. Before arriving at the establishment, my friends and I had some drinks elsewhere and were quite inebriated. At The Venue, I ordered five shots, and the bartender quoted me a price of $50 for them. Several of my friends were present and can attest to this conversation with the bartender. However, when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that The Venue had charged me $549 instead of the expected $250. This discrepancy is highly questionable, and I intend to dispute it with my credit card company.I attempted to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) but I was unable to locate the company on the BBB website. This situation raises concerns, and I advise other customers to be cautious. It appears that The Venue may have attempted to take advantage of intoxicated patrons, which is quite disconcerting.

Nicely decorated stylish bar.. Good for a late night drink when staying at The Line hotel across the street..

This place is awesome! The staff were super attentive, the rooms were spacious, the food was delicious! They took care of our every need, and made my bday extra special.
